A man has been convicted for enticing a child for sex while posing as a social service caseworker, said a recent statement from Montgomery County District Attorney Azzie Oliver.

The defendant, Nikki Miller, reportedly approached a 12-year-old boy walking through a neighborhood in the 300 block of Blackwood Drive in August 2025.

He is said to have told the boy that he worked for the Department of Human Resources before offering him a ride and then began propositioning him for sexual favors when he was inside the car.

Miller faces up to 10 years in prison. He will be sentenced on July 23.

“This conviction demonstrates our commitment to protecting the most vulnerable members of our community and holding offenders accountable for their actions," said Oliver in the statement. "But this verdict would not have been possible without the extraordinary strength of the young victim, who showed remarkable courage in coming forward and testifying."

"I also commend the dedicated prosecutors, support staff, and law enforcement officers whose hard work and professionalism helped secure this verdict.”
