A two-vehicle crash in Marengo County took the lives of two Alabamians on Friday.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Lashandra S. Bell, 53, of Gainsville was fatally injured when the 2017 Volkswagen Jetta she was driving collided head-on with the 2006 Lexus ES330 driven by an 18-year-old juvenile from Mobile.
Bell and the juvenile were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred at 7:15 a.m. Friday on U.S. 43 near the 111 mile marker approximately five miles south of Linden.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
