Due to the Labor Day holiday a work session and regular meeting of the Marion City Council will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m.Â
Items to be addressed include American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding related to water, as well as repairs of the sidewalk on Washington Street, a petition for speed breakers and issues concerning Fikes Ferry Road and County Road 30.Â

Marion City Hall is located at 123 E. Jefferson Street. Regular council meetings take place on the first and third Mondays of every month.Â
