A fisherman who went missing while boating on the Black Warrior River in Hale County on Nov. 16 has been found dead after an extensive search. 

According to WBRC, Larry James, 47, of Helena was found at 11 a.m. on Friday. 

According to the Hale County Sheriff's Office social media, the fisherman was last heard from on Nov. 16 and his boat was discovered on the following day. 

After he went missing cadaver dogs, private citizens, the Daphne Search & Rescue Sonar & Dive Recovery Team, an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) helicopter, the Hale County Emergency Management Agency and Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue’s Water Rescue/Dive Team coordinated the search effort.
