The waste drop off sites at Hope Hull and Pintlala that were part of the Montgomery County Clean-Up Day program are now closed.

Five other locations are still open. These are: Mount Meigs, Pike Road, Pine Level, Ramer, and Flatwood. Clean-Up Days are hosted on the last Saturday of each month except for December from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Trash can be dropped off for free.

The following policies must be observed:

  1. Hazardous or toxic waste will not be accepted, including batteries, paints, thinners, oils, or gasses.
  2. Heavy or bulk items require your assistance in loading onto the truck. Items that are too heavy to be loaded manually will not be accepted. Nothing will be loaded onto the ground prior to operating hours or while other patrons are being served. Trash must be loaded directly onto the truck.
  3. No appliances will be accepted.
  4. No tires will be accepted.
  5. All tree limbs must be no longer than 4 feet long and no more than 6 inches in diameter.
  6. No salvaging of materials will be allowed.
  7. No standing or loitering will be allowed.
  8. No vehicles, with a load capacity of more than three-quarter (3/4) ton and/or equipped with hydraulics or self-dumping or self-dumping bodies, are permitted.
  9. No trailers, with a load capacity of more than three-quarter (3/4) ton and/or dual axle, are permitted.
  10. No vehicles with stake-side bodies are permitted.
  11. Please follow instructions given by operators and load onto the truck specified (limitation of equipment).
  12. Patrons will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please maintain your place in line until you can be served.
  13. Use of Saturday Clean-Up Day locations are for Montgomery County Residents only.
