The Montgomery County Health Department (MCHD) has ordered a Wintzell’s Oyster House location to close following a report of health concerns.Â
According to WSFA, inspectors reportedly found a rat infestation and a lack of refrigeration on June 15 after a complaint was filed. The establishment has been in Montgomery since 2009.Â
The MCHD issued a statement saying that the location will contact the department after working with a pest control company to address the rats and make repairs to the refrigeration equipment before being allowed to reopen.Â
