The City of Montgomery is hosting a recycling event for Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Â
The city is partnering with Block by Black and community partners: Main Street Montgomery, Pick Up Montgomery, Sabel Steel, Eugene's Hot Chicken, and the city's Department of Cultural Affairs.Â
Items being accepted are:Â
Gently used furnitureÂ
Office electronics to include:Â
- Damaged or whole computers, laptops or phones
- Tablets
- Networking equipment
- ServersÂ
- Circuit boardsÂ
- Telecom equipment
The event will take place at 425 Molton Street behind the old Montgomery Advertiser building.Â
