Officials celebrated the Sheridan Heights Community Center in Montgomery with a ribbon cutting after it underwent extensive renovations.

A resurfaced swimming pool, an upgraded gym floor, and new recreational features including a table tennis setup were part of the renovation along with a new e-gaming room, said to be the second of its kind in Montgomery.

“The renovations at Sheridan Heights Community Center represent more than just upgrades to a building—they reflect our commitment to creating safe, modern, and inclusive spaces where the community can come together, grow, and thrive," said Mayor Steven Reed. "We’re proud to provide a facility that meets the evolving needs of our residents and offers something for everyone.”

Additionally, there is a gym, kitchen and meeting spaces, as well as outdoor facilities including a swimming pool, two softball fields, and a paved walking path for exercise.
