The Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) has completed its Full-Scale Emergency Exercise to test responses to emergency scenarios.
Conducted in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies, the exercise tested the airport's emergency response plan, interagency coordination, and communication procedures.
“This exercise demonstrates our strong commitment to safety and readiness,” said Loyd Jenkins, Interim Executive Airport Director. “Working alongside our dedicated first responders and partner agencies allows us to strengthen coordination, test our procedures, and continue building confidence in our ability to protect passengers, employees, and the community.”
The exercise was conducted as required every three years by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), said an announcement from MGM.
