Downtown Selma

The Montgomery to Selma route was included in a list of "8 Great Road Trips to Take in Alabama" by worldatlas.com

The route was included because of its historical significance during the Civil Rights Movement.

The list suggests starting with the Civil Rights Memorial Center in Montgomery before continuing along US Route 80 and stopping at the Lowndes Interpretive Center. From there visitors are recommended to reach Selma where they'll see Edmund Pettus Bridge and conclude with the Selma Interpretive Center.
