The Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) recently announced that Morgan Academy is the recipient of the AISA Class AA President’s Award for the 2022-2023 school year.
According to the AISA, the President's Award is awarded to only one school per academic classification, which is based on student enrollment. It was established for the specific purpose of recognizing member schools that achieve academic excellence during the school year.
Morgan Academy Headmaster Dr. Bryan Oliver said, “I am extremely proud of everyone involved in helping us win the 2022-2023 AISA President's Award. I am thankful that the AISA has recognized Morgan Academy once again for our outstanding academic programs.”
Oliver said, “This award is a true representation of teamwork and dedication to make our school the best it can be for our students. We will continue to strive for excellence in all areas.”
The criteria for winning the AISA President's Award includes achievement in all areas of school excellence such as: academic achievement, professional development, extra-curricular involvement, school improvement and other activities that celebrate excellence in education.
Also, according to the AISA, the award serves as a symbol of recognition to the individuals who have given unselfishly of their time.
The AISA reports it has been steadfast in its efforts since 1970 to maintain an organization of independently operated non-public schools that are rich in diversity, committed to academic excellence and deeply concerned about the growth and development of students. And its goal is to provide quality educational services and programs that ultimately serve to enrich the educational experiences of the students within its member schools.
He said, “I am extremely proud of everyone involved in helping us win the 2022-2023 AISA President's Award. I am thankful that the AISA has recognized Morgan Academy once again for our outstanding academic programs. The board, administration and faculty are all a part of contributing to the success of our school.”
