The 35th annual Moundville Native American Festival will be held at the Moundville Archaeological Park on Oct. 7 at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The event celebrates the cultures of Southeastern Native Americans and features artisans, traditional dances, stories and music. Attendants may also show support for Native American businesses at a historic space on the Black Warrior River. 

Admission is $10 for adults, students and seniors but free for children of ages five and under. 

Moundville Archaeological Park is located at 634 Mound State Parkway, 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa off Alabama Highway 69. 

Volunteers may fill out forms here.
