These adorable photos show bush dog puppies playing together after venturing out of their den.

The unnamed pups, considered near-threatened in the wild, are getting 'braver and more adventurous' every day.

They were born on August 7 at Chester Zoo in Cheshire.

A Chester Zoo spokesperson said: "Born to proud parents, Molly and Charlie, they’re getting braver and more adventurous every single day."

Bush dogs are found in the Amazon Basin and other parts of South America, living in social groups of up to 12 individuals.

They sleep close to each other, feed without fighting and follow each other around their habitat - and hunt in packs.

Fully grown they stand at just 25-30cm tall but are perfectly adapted for swimming with partially webbed feet.
