* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1039 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mosses, Gordonville, Belknap, Dallas Lake, Farmersville,
Fostoria, Collirene, Minter and Carlowville.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo,
Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Russell, Sumter and Tallapoosa.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff due to saturated soil conditions may
result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations.
