A new scholarship for students with disabilities has been established at Troy University (TU) in honor of Tabatha Martineau, an alumnae who passed away on May 9.

Tree of Life founder Jennifer Hughley Grier, herself a graduate of TU, established the scholarship, which is titled the Martineau Memorial Scholarship.

“She served with passion and enjoyed every moment of giving her time, expertise, and knowledge to the mission of serving others in need. She leaves behind a legacy of helping others achieve success,” she said.

Martineau volunteered as Chief Financial Officer at Tree of Life and held an undergraduate degree in management and a Master of Accounting from the Sorrell College of Business at TU.
