A newcomer to Selma and the Selma Art Guild is spreading the word about and sharing her enthusiasm for the “fiber arts.”
Beth Walker, owner of Walker’s Woolies Fiber Arts and Soap Mage Bathtime, is from Rossville, Ga., and is married to Jeff Walker. She studied fine arts at Chattanooga State Community College and moved to Selma in March 2019.
Walker said she studied fine arts in college with watercolor and oils being her most used and most loved medium. But she said, “Years later I taught myself to crochet and knit and fell in love with the feel of wool.”
