Old Cahawba Park will be featured on an episode of “Mysteries of the Abandoned: Hidden America” on the Discovery Channel tonight at 9 p.m.
The park will be the subject of an episode titled “The Secrets and Troubles of Cahawba".
Old Cahawba is a historic area that once served as the first capitol of Alabama. Many events are associated with it, including ghost lore and the sinking of the Sultana in which hundreds of Civil War prisoners perished.
After the episodes airs on TV it will be available for streaming on the Discovery Channel streaming platforms.
