The Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Selma will be celebrating its 65th anniversary in July and the public is invited to join.
The company opened its doors on July 14 in 1954 on West Highland Avenue in Selma. Today, in addition to carbonated soft drinks, the company sells juices, teas, sports drinks, coffee, energy drinks and bottled water.
“Like a number of our employees, I have spent my entire career with Pepsi Selma. We’re proud of our Company and that we’ve been operating continuously on Highland Avenue for 65 years,” said Cheyenne Bradford, Vice President and Director of Operations at Pepsi Selma. We invite all members of the Selma community to join us on July 17 to celebrate this milestone.”
The celebration will be held on July 17. The Pepsi wagon will serve hot dogs and free drinks from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sheryl Z. Smedley, who is the Executive Director of the Selma and Dallas County Chamber of Commerce, will speak.
