The Perry County Health Fair hosted by Sowing Seeds of Hope in partnership with Rural Alabama Prevention Center/SWAHII Project is set for Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Â
"This event is open to the community and designed to help families take charge of their health," said a description of the fair by the Rural Alabama Prevention Center.Â
The fair will feature free screenings and resources for blood sugar, blood pressure, A1C levels, nutrition and wellness, as well as activities and giveaways.
Sowing Seeds of Hope will host the event at their location on 1728 South Washington in Marion. For more information, call 334-683-4666.Â

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent freezing and possible bursting of pipes they should be
wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
