Perry County 4-H attended the Alabama 4-H Summer Camp with several youth participants in early June.

Attendees Aubrey Abraham, Paisley Jones, and Kaliaha Noland, along with Katrina Easley, Perry County CED, participated in wall climbing, ziplining and cozy campfire nights.

Summer camp took place from June 2-5 at the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana. Melanie Hogue with Perry County Cooperative Extension said the camp isn't "just about fun, it’s about building confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships."

"We’re so proud of our 4-H’ers for making the most of every moment," she said.

Alabama 4-H seeks to empower youth with the skills to lead our communities, our state, our nation, and also our world. Alabama 4-H is open to all youth ages 9–18.  For more information on how to become a part of Perry County 4-H or how to serve as a volunteer, contact the Perry County Extension Office by calling 334-683-6888.
