The owners of a historic storefront in Marion are seeking the input of Marion residents on what kind of businesses to bring to the building.Â
The owners, the Longworth family and PineBloom Properties, will no longer have tenants in the building known as the AJ Marshall building, which was built in 1912.Â
"The goal to get a revenue producing business for Downtown," said Constance Longworth on a post on Facebook. "We will not consider partnership with anyone who has not had a business, we want experience."
Longworth said that the 5,550 square foot building is being considered for one business but may continue to be used as three storefronts.Â
"We will work with any and all groups to bring businesses to Marion," she said. "We want unity."
