The Francis Marion Rams were unable to find their footing Friday night, falling 36–0 at home to the Linden Patriots in a regional matchup in Marion.Â
Linden controlled the game from the start, scoring early and keeping the Rams off the scoreboard throughout all four quarters. The win marked a strong showing for the Patriots as they improved their record in regional play, while Marion continued to search for consistency on offense.Â
Despite the loss, Marion’s defense showed stretches of fight against Linden’s balanced attack. The Rams will look to regroup and bounce back in next week’s conference game against crosstown rival RC Hatch in Uniontown.
