Wallace Community College of Selma's men’s basketball team is third in their conference after defeating Marion Military Institute Friday night.
Wallace, which now has a 16-7 overall record, beat MMI 89-68 in the game played at Marion Military Institute.
Austin Galuppo led the Patriots with 18 points and 10 rebounds. All of Galuppo’s points came from beyond the arch. K. Gaines was the leading scorer for Marion Military Institute, finishing with 20 points.
Wallace has two more regular season games left before entering the playoffs. They will be on the road Monday to face Enterprise Community College and their last home game will be on Thursday against Coastal Alabama-South. The women’s game will start at 5:30 p.m. and the men’s game will follow immediately after.
