A railroad crossing in Grady will close for emergency repairs by CSX Transportation for the next few days and residents are advised to plan alternate routes until it is reopened.Â
The crossing is located at Fannin Mill Road near Ramer Grady Road and Kent Spur Road. Repairs will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 8 a.m. and will continue through Thursday, Oct. 24, also at 8 a.m.Â
"This is a total closure, and no traffic will be allowed until the work is completed," said a post on the Montgomery County Commission's Facebook page.Â
The post added that signage will be placed and detours marked. Residents are asked to avoid the area as well.Â
Dates are subject to change in case of weather or "unforeseen" circumstances.Â
