Martin Luther King Jr. giving speech

Registration is open for "The Theology of Martin Luther King, Jr." conference sponsored by Sankofa Servants in collaboration with the Greater Birmingham Ministries. 

An overview of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s beliefs and how he applied it to social justice will be delivered by Dr. Fredrick L. Ware from the Howard University School of Divinity (HUSD). 

Conference sites are: Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, Montgomery Interpretive Center for the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail at Alabama State University, and Holt Street Baptist Church.

Registration is open until Oct. 10. 

Continental breakfast tickets are $10 per day and lunch tickets are $20 per day.

The fee for registration is $25 and can be done by scanning the QR code on the flyer below. The optional fee for HUSD continuing education credits is $150.
