Registration for youth football, baseball/softball and cheerleading in Selma is open.Â
Registration for youths of ages five and 11 for football and cheerleading can be done at the Memorial Stadium at 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Friday.Â
Birth certificates are required to register. A child who is 12 and currently enrolled in elementary school is eligible.Â
Registration for youths of ages 13-18 for baseball and softball can be done at the Memorial Stadium at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Friday.Â
The cost is $20 per application. A National Sport ID is $20 and can be done at nationalsportsid.com.
The deadline to register for football and cheerleading is Aug. 9 and the deadline for baseball/softball registration is April 25.Â

* IMPACTS...The combination of a dry air mass and windy
conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
