A ribbon cutting was held on Monday for the newly constructed Montgomery Biscuits Clubhouse at Dabos Park, formerly the Riverwalk Stadium.Â
"This new clubhouse is more than just a facility," said Biscuits General Manager Mike Murphy. "It's a space designed to strengthen team culture and provide the resources the team needs to perform at their best. It will give our team a place to prepare, recover and come together both on an off the field."Â
The building sports a weight room, a training room, a coaches’ locker room, a manager’s office, and new furniture and fixtures. Additionally, it connects directly to the new batting tunnel.Â
"The clubhouse is not just about baseball," said Mayor Steven Reed. "It's about opportunity. It's about building trust with our residents, engaging local businesses and creating a place where everyone in Montgomery can be proud of."Â
