Selma Roots 1

Betty Oldroyd said the old store will close and everything will move to Selma Roots, the new location on Citizens Parkway in the former Sears building.

A ribbon cutting and grand opening will be held by the Selma and Dallas County Chamber of Commerce for Selma Roots on Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. 

Selma Roots is a new thrift store being operated by Betty Oldroyd and is located at the former Sears Home Store. A website, including items for sale, can be found here. 

The event will be held at the store's located on 2908 Citizens Parkway.
