Selma Center for Nonviolence, Truth & Reconciliation (SCNTR) is taking questions that residents have for candidates for a Chat & Chill event tonight at 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.Â
"This year, we will follow a similar pattern as in years past by offering candidates an opportunity to share their perspectives in both print and through individual interviews," said a post on social media by SCNTR.Â
Candidates will not be present at the event tonight but the public is invited to attend and submit questions for a questionnaire that SCNTR will distribute to those running. The responses will be published.Â
SCNTR will run a special edition in August featuring selected questions from tonight's event, which will take place at SCNTR's location on 8 Mulberry Road in Selma.Â
