Several local Selma businesses teamed up recently to donate funds, as well as cases of water and Gatorade to the Selma High School Saints football team.

Cougar Oil, Lawrence Brown Funeral Home and Lemarkus Snow of Snow's Cleaning Service each donated $500, totaling $1,500 in monetary donations.

They also pitched in to provide 75 cases of Gatorade and 50 cases of water for the team.

In a post on Facebook, Snow thanked Selma Superintendent Zickeyous Byrd, Athletic Director Wil Morgan and Head Coach Leon Day.
