Selma City Schools goes virtual Tuesday due to severe weather threat

Virtual school

Selma City Schools announced on Monday that classes will be virtual on Tuesday due to the threat of severe weather.

The National Weather Service has warned of an "enhanced" threat of bad weather from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Tuesday will be a remote learning day for scholars and a remote workday for employees. Parents are instructed to look for specific instructions from each school regarding learning.

ACAP Testing originally scheduled to begin Tuesday will be rescheduled. Schools will provide updates about the revised testing schedule later this week, the district said in a social media post.
