Selma City Schools to hold annual title 1 parent meeting on May 20

Selma City Schools will hold its annual Title 1 parent meeting next week on May 20. 

The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the main entrance of  Selma High School located at 2180 Broad Street. 

Topics to be covered will include what it means to be a title 1 school, as well as the LEA Title I Consolidated Plan, LEA Parental and Family Engagement Policy, how to request the qualifications of teachers and others.

Parents can share input by completing surveys. 

As the meeting will be held outside of the school, attendants are asked to bring chairs or remain in their cars.
