Selma native honored with Outstanding Human Services Award at Troy University

During Troy University's annual Honors Convocation on April 18, Selma native Sarah Mitchell Wagoner was given the Outstanding Human Services Award. 

Wagoner was among other students to be recognized for achievements in academics, as well as "leadership and service" according to a news release from the university. 

The convocation was held at Troy University's campus with Dr. Kevin Walsh, Director of In-School Education of the Greater Alabama Council of the Boy Scouts and founder of the Council's Youth Leadership Development Program, who served as keynote speaker.
