Selma University

Selma University is among 20 other institutions that was awarded an AT&T Connected Learning Center.

A press release from AT&T stated that the center will provide internet and resources to the local community after it opens.

It will receive an investment of up to $50,000 from AT&T, high-speed internet, Dell computers, and access to digital literacy training and resources, said the press release.

The center is part of AT&T's $5 billion program to provide internet to communities and "bridge the digital divide."

"It will provide a reliable place to get online, complete schoolwork, apply for jobs, manage healthcare, communicate with loved ones and more," stated AT&T's release.
