The City of Selma has announced that communication lines with the Selma Water and Sewer Board are down and are expected to be repaired by tomorrow.

See below for a message from the city:

The Selma Water and Sewer Board communication lines, both telephone and internet, have been cut by a contractor doing work for the Board. All communications are presently down and are expected to be restored tomorrow, January 12, 2022. Mayor Perkins, Selma Water and Sewer Board Superintendent, states, “The contractor who is painting our towers accidently cut the line. We have contacted the appropriate utility companies and the earliest they can service us is tomorrow. We regret the inconvenience this has caused to our customers and vendors. As progress is made, we will keep everyone updated.”

If you have an immediate or urgent need to contact the Selma Water and Sewer Board prior to telecommunication services being restored, please call 334-375-1127. In advance, thank you for your patience.
