Robert Stewart

Sen. Robert Stewart will host a public meeting on the potential impact of a proposed gas pipeline that will run through Perry County.

A project titled SSE4 seeks to install methane gas pipelines in nine counties. According to a flyer for the meeting the pipe is being paid for with taxpayer money, "threatens" private property and may pose a risk to water supplies.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served. It will take place at Uniontown Rec Center on 287 East Avenue.
