Selma Housing Authority (SHA) will kick off its Choice Neighborhoods program for residents of George Washington Carver (GWC) Homes on Friday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Â
The event will feature a DJ, entertainment, activities for children, and food.
"The Choice Neighborhood program provides a comprehensive approach to neighborhood transformation for the Department of Housing and Urban Development federally funded assistant housing communities," said a press release from SHA.
"As a recipient of this opportunity, the Selma Housing Authority has a unique opportunity to reimagine and revitalize the George Washington Carver Homes, but the housing authority needs the voice of every GWC Resident and community member."
