A project to extend the South Industrial Park Road in Thomasville by 740 feet and add a cul de sac is "underway," said an update by Mayor Sheldon Day.Â
"The extension of the road is necessary to accommodate new businesses who are locating in the Park," he said, stating that South Alabama Machine has completed their building and are installing equipment.Â
Clark Gas Co. will being work on their new site "soon," Day said. The project was funded by a grant from the Alabama Department of Transportation Industrial Access Road Program.

profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
Secure outdoor objects.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
