The Selma Redevelopment Authority Board of Directors is seeking additional funds to continue its efforts to revitalize storefronts in downtown Selma.
Meeting by conference call on April 15, the SRA Board authorized SRA Community Advocate Susan Youngblood and SRA Board Chairman Juanda Maxwell to send fundraising letters to area businesses.
The letter explains that the SRA is seeking “gap funding” from the community so they can continue helping business owners update their storefronts as they procure additional funding through grants.
