St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is hosting a classical music concert on May 20 in the sanctuary.
The concert will feature pianist Dr. Eun-Hee Park and cellist Dr. Katie Decker in a musicale of classical selections at 4 p.m.
Park has enjoyed a diverse career as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. She is currently a professor in the Department of Music at the University of Montevallo and has given concerts throughout the United States, South Korea, Japan, Italy, and Brazil, and at various prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall.
Decker has also performed extensively as a solo and ensemble artist. Currently serving as Assistant Professor of Cello at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, she is planning a new CD of piano trio music featuring works by living female composers.
A reception to meet the musicians will follow the concert in St. Paul’s Lower Hall.
