Stars & Stripes Fourth of July Celebration starts this Thursday

Selma's Stars and Stripes Fourth of July Celebration will begin this Thursday at 5 p.m. and will run through Saturday, July 2. 

See below for a schedule of events: 

June 30 

5 p.m. - Opening of vendors and activities 

6 p.m. - Red, White and Boom concert and Karaoke Explosion (Register here). Performances by Wilks & Wade and Clinton Barbers. 

Dusk - Fireworks 

July 1 

5 p.m. - Opening of food trucks, activities and vendors

6 p.m. - The Big Boom Concert with performances by Jeremy Flyy and Flight Control 

July 2 

11 a.m. - Stars and Stripes Honor Parade 

12 p.m. - River and Blues Concert with performances by Alabama Mad Ladd, Chuck Strong, Stephanie Pickett, Little Kim Stewart, Projekt Band and DJ Smooth

2 p.m. - Splash Pad activities and vendors open
