Statement from Nadia Pizarro, Mother of Antonio Pizarro, on the Arraignments of Chico Garcia and Skyler J. Gill

Buffalo, New York Jul 20, 2026 (Issuewire.com) "I will never stop fighting for justice for my son Antonio, until all those responsible for his death are held accountable."

Antonio Pizarro passed away in the morning hours on Saturday, July Fourth, inside the Erie County Holding Center. Chico Garcia and Skyler J. Gill were arraigned on June 16, 2026, in Erie County Court on felony charges of Murder in the Second Degree [Case Number 01202-2026].

Out of respect for Antonio Pizarro's memory, Ms. Pizarro respectfully requests that media allow her privacy and space to grieve. Other than the statement above, she does not wish to be contacted.
