Strong storms are possible for much of the Black Belt from 4:30 p.m. today through Saturday evening, according to weather reports.Â
A marginal risk of severe weather has been issued from the southern portion of Marengo through Wilcox, Dallas, Montgomery, Bullock, Macon, Pike and Barbour counties.Â
The risk includes the possibility of a brief tornado and isolated damaging wind gusts.Â
The public is advised to stay up to date with weather reports and take precautions as needed.Â
