A 14-year-old teenager has been charged in the shooting death of a Selma man that took place on Jan. 5.Â
Charles Steele, 56, was killed in a robbery on Broad Street and Third Avenue according to media reports.
The teenager has been charged with capital murder.Â
A petition to consider the teen as an adult has been filed by District Attorney Michael Jackson. Whether he is tried in an adult court or juvenile court will be determined as the proceedings take place in the future.Â
