The Flats in Demopolis is a finalist for Emerging Business of the Year Award presented by The Partnership of the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama (CCAA) and the Business Council of Alabama (BCA). 

"Presented annually, the awards recognize businesses of merit based on a variety of civic endeavors, business success and community involvement," said a description of the event by the CCAA. 

The Flats is among 40 businesses to be named finalists. BCA/CCAA Partnership Annual Meeting on Nov. 18 in Birmingham where finalists will be named and winners in each category will be announced.
