A third suspect has been arrested and now faces an attempted murder charge for his alleged role in the shooting in Montgomery on Oct. 4 in which 12 were injured and two were killed.

The Montgomery Police Department (MPD) announced that Javorick Whiting, 19, was brought into custody on Thursday and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

Recently police arrested another 19-year-old, identified as Dantavious McGhee. An unidentified juvenile was brought into custody prior.

Police believe that the shooting stemmed from an argument that took place during a large gathering at the corner of Bibb Street and Commerce Street.
