Perry County PREP Center

The PREP Center in Uniontown will commemorate more than 60 graduates of the program on Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. 

A press release from the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles said that the program has produced more than 200 graduates in an effort to reintroduce people in the justice system to society. 

Speaking at the event will be graduates, Alabama State Senator Robert Stewart (District 23), Perry County Commission Chairman Albert Turner, Jr., representatives from J.F. Ingram State Technical College and GEO Group and others.

"This ceremony honors the perseverance and dedication of those who have put in the hard work to make a positive change," said the press release.

The PREP Center is located on 4805 U.S. HWY 80.
