University Charter School (UCS) in Livingston is partnering with Black Belt Regional Child Advocacy Center (BBRCAC) for a Parent Connect meeting on Jan. 22. 

Two licensed counselors will deliver a presentation titled "Keeping Children Safe: Boundaries, Influence, and Control". 

"The discussion is educational in nature and will provide general information related to recognizing and understanding toxic relationships," said an announcement from UCS on social media. 

Other topics include: Boundaries in friendships and relationships, influence and control dynamics, recognizing unhealthy or toxic relationships and social media and its role in relationship dynamics. 

The meeting will be held at Lyon Auditorium at 5:30 p.m.
