Craig Field Airport & Industrial Authority is on the move, with continued upgrades being made to its campus, taxiways and neighborhood and with the entrance of new businesses landing there.

During an update at Rotary Club of Selma on Monday, Executive Director Jim Corrigan outlined many changes being made at the former air base that closed in 1977, taking jobs and millions in economic impact with it.

His team sold the 75 houses in the adjacent neighborhood to the occupants, which has given “pride and ownership” to the residents, he said.
