At the Valley Grande City Council meeting on Monday, Tammy Troha was sworn in as the latest council member representing Place 4.Â
Troha will serve the remaining months of the term of Councilmen Bruce Hughes who died in a hunting campfire in June.
Hughes won the seat by defeating incumbent Troha in the 2020 election by a narrow margin that required counting provisional ballots before the race could be certified.
Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn administered the oath of office, and Troha sat in her seat and got to the business of Valley Grande.Â
